The WBYB 7U & 8U All Stars are part-time travel teams that provide exemplary in-house players an opportunity to explore the world of travel baseball.  To be eligible to play on the 7U or 8U All Stars, a player must already be a rostered player on a WBYB in-house team.

The 7U and 8U All Star teams are intended to be a supplemental baseball experience and not a primary team for participants.

Tryouts

Roster formation begins with in-house All Star selections.  Players selected by their coach to participate in the All Star Game will automatically receive an invitation to tryout for the 7U or 8U All Stars; however, an open tryout allows for any player to become an All Star.  Tryouts typically take place the week following the in-house All Star Game (early June) with roster invitations being extended shortly after.  A finalized roster will consist of 11-12 players chosen by a group of independent evaluators.

Season

Once the team is formed, the team will practice weekly and end with 2 tournaments after the in-house season concludes.

Cost

The cost to be an 7U or 8U All Star is approximately $250.
