2020 Spring Baseball Registration will open November 16, 2019
Wheaton Briarcliffe Youth Baseball (WBYB) is excited to announce that registration for the Spring League Baseball League opens on November 16, 2019. Early bird rates are offered before February 1, 2020.
The Spring 2020 Baseball season will offer seven divisions (T-Ball, Stallion Jr (NEW), Stallion Sr (NEW), Pinto Jr., Mustang, Bronco, and Pony).
As always, our focus is on fun, teamwork and sportsmanship while providing for increasing levels of competition for all players. We strive to provide outstanding coaching across all levels, ensuring players receive instruction on the fundamentals, rules and respect for the game necessary to progress as a player.
Registration runs through the end of February 2020 for all baseball divisions. Registrations received after the cutoff date may be accepted if there are spots available but will incur an additional late registration fee.
Please note that due to demand, league sizes are limited and determined based on coaching availability. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis and anyone registering after the league limit has been met may be placed on a waitlist until we're sure team placement can be guaranteed. Please register early to ensure your spot. Full payment is required to complete registration.
The season will run from the beginning of April through mid/late June. A single elimination post-season tournament will be played during the final week/weekend for baseball leagues Pinto Jr. and above.
2020 SPECIFIC LEAGUE OFFERINGS (early bird pricing -$15 before 2/1)
Wheaton Briarcliffe Youth Baseball offers baseball leagues for children, pre-K through 8th grade. We offer a t-ball division and six baseball divisions, based on age and ability. We also offer four fall ball baseball divisions for those who want to extend their baseball playing past the spring season.
Note: Players should typically be registered for the grade they are currently in. Players can play up one level if parents/coaches feel the child’s experience and skill level is appropriate. Players may not play down a level unless they have a medical reason and the move is approved by the WBYB Board.
Looking for a more competitive environment? We also offer a full and part-time travel offering across many age groups. The full-time travel teams play outside the in-house league and compete against other local teams. The part-time travel teams, also known as tournament teams, compete in tournaments after the in-house season is complete.
