2022 LEAGUE OFFERINGS (early bird pricing -$15 for Spring Leagues ends 1/31)
Wheaton Briarcliffe Youth Baseball offers baseball leagues for children aged 4 and up, pre-K through 8th grade. We offer a t-ball division and six baseball divisions, based on age and ability. We also offer four fall ball baseball divisions for those who want to extend their baseball playing past the spring season.
Note: Players should typically be registered for the grade they are currently in. Players can play up one level if parents/coaches feel the child’s experience and skill level is appropriate. Players may not play down a level unless they have a medical reason and the move is approved by the WBYB Board.
Looking for a more competitive environment? We also offer a full and part-time travel offering across many age groups. The full-time travel teams play outside the in-house league and compete against other local teams. The part-time travel teams, also known as tournament teams, compete in tournaments after the in-house season is complete.

An in-person player evaluation is planned for the weekend of March 11th/12th. More details will be provided separately.
The evaluation and draft process, and no friend request policy for this division has worked well for many years. Taking reasonable efforts to balance the talent on teams, by using this policy, has resulted in exciting games for all participants by reducing the number of lopsided scores and over-matched teams. We also believe that mixing with kids from different schools and making new friends is an important part of the youth baseball experience.

Travel Baseball
The travel program creates opportunities for players to participate on a team against surrounding area community teams. This level of competition is generally higher than organizations find within their own in-house programs, so competition to achieve positions on travel teams can be significant. WBYB offers part-time travel (Bulldogs) for younger players (following the in-house season) and full-time travel (Blazers) for older players. See WBYB Travel Programs document for more detailed information.
